I have entered the Hoffman Challenge 9 times in the past few years. Every year Hoffman Fabrics puts out a feature fabric for the challenge. Your entry must use a certain amount of this focus fabric, plus anything else that you want. There are design rules and size specifications that have to be followed, but it's a great way to exercise your creative muscles. I have never won a prize, but every entry I've sent has been chosen to travel in the trunk show that tours the U.S. for the following year, so I'm pretty proud of that.
